The Ruf Group is expanding its international partner network

The Ruf Group is expanding its international partner network and is pleased to announce its partnership with the company “SepsaMedha Brasil”, located in the Brazilian city of São Paulo.

SEPSAMEDHA will start to operate as a service center and sales partner of the Ruf Group in Brazil and other countries on the South American continent right away. SEPSAMEDHA has been active and successful in the railway sector for many years and has extensive know-how as an equipment and service provider for rail vehicles in public transport.


SEPSAMEDHA will distribute and support the VisiWeb® Passenger Information System, products and spare parts from the Ruf Digital Transportation Business Unit and will provide the following on-site services:

  • Installation and configuration of systems and parts
  • On-site commissioning and testing
  • System and product training with end customers
  • Fault analysis, repair and maintenance work
  • Management of a spare parts warehouse

Métro São Paulo CAF Serie 8500

The largest fleets equipped with the VisiWeb® Passenger Information System outside of Europe operate in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. These include vehicles belonging to MSP (Metrô São Paulo) and CPTM (Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos), which operates the city metro network and surrounding region.

For the comfort and security of São Paulo’s passengers VisiWeb® provides visual and acoustic passenger information, video monitoring and infotainment in a total of 140 vehicles, that have been produced by various train manufacturers.
