We've all been there: You've got an e-mail with an Office document attached that you need to briefly edit and send back when you are out of the office. But your company's security guidelines prohibit you from transferring the document unencrypted to the unprotected memory on your mobile device.
The optional DME Viewer/Editor allows you to display all important Office file formats as well as PDFs and images directly within the DME container. The licensed Picsel Office library also supports various graphics formats, allows you to search documents, and save them in their original format once you have made the necessary changes.
As they are incorporated in the encrypted DME container, the sensitive documents do not leave the secure environment when being displayed or edited, instead they are managed directly within the DME application. The potential outward flow of data to the Internet is not possible (Data Leakage Prevention). The Viewer/Editor offers virtually identical basic functionality and operation for both Android and iOS. The DME guideline can be used to deactivate "cut & paste" for iOS and Android and the ability to create screenshots can also be deactivated for Android.
