The VisiWeb CCTV Onboard video surveillance system is based on local storage and processing of video data directly in the vehicle. This architecture is especially suitable when data must remain strictly onboard, or in environments with limited network coverage.
VisiWeb CCTV Onboard video surveillance system
The VisiWeb onboard video surveillance system records the interior and exterior of vehicles using IP cameras, providing important evidence in the case of incidents such as vandalism, theft, and accidents.
Video data are recorded in the VisiWeb video recorder onto removable hard disk drives, and after a preset period are automatically overwritten. If an alarm is triggered (e.g. emergency call), the images from the cameras affected are written to a secured emergency track. Any attributes such as vehicle position, time, and date can be stored with each image.
Video evaluation process
After an incident, the removable storage media with the video material are removed from the video computer and handed over to the responsible authority for evaluation.
Features:
Event Marking
System-detected events or emergency situations (e.g. pressing the emergency talk-button) are automatically marked in the Video Explorer and are thus located quickly.
Overview
An overview image of the vehicle showing camera positions simplifies locating which camera caught what, inside or outside, reducing the time needed for investigations.
Maintenance
The status of the removable storage media can be analysed with the VisiWeb Video Explorer. This function provides information about the condition of the hard disk and detects faulty sectors early. This prevents a storage medium from entering service that no longer records correctly or has reached end-of-life.
