The passenger intercom station has been specially designed for SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) applications in the rail industry. It can even be installed where space is at a premium, as is often the case in metro trains and on trams and buses.
The intercom station supports direct high-quality full-duplex communication with the driver or control station. Wiring overheads are significantly reduced thanks to the device's PoE (Power over Ethernet) connection. The intercom station is also protected against destructive external influences.
